The important lesson in Animal Farm is to sometimes question authority. The animals on Animal Farm always thought since the pigs have always been in charge and since they were smarter that everything the pigs say should go. The most effective element of allegory in Animal Farm, is when the animals said that they wouldn't become like humans, and later on did.

Thanksgiving

The things that I am most thankful for are, my family, friends, and God. The reason that I am most thankful for them is because God put me on this Earth and lets me live, my family loves and cares for me and my friends give me things to do and people to talk to! My favorite Thanksgiving traditions are going to my Grandma's house and watching football then going outside and playing football. The reason that that is my favorite tradition is because we all come together as a family and have fun. The best Thanksgiving I have ever had was last years. The reason that that was the best was because my grandma made chess pie.

Casting a Movie
If I were to cast a modern film of Julius Caesar who would my actors be?
For Cassius I would chose Jonny Depp. The reason that I would chose Jonny Depp to be my actor for Cassius is because in the play Cassius is daring and sly. I think the Jonny Depp in his past movies have portrayed those characteristics.

For Antony I would choose Willem Dafoe. I chose Willem Dafoe to be the actor of Antony because I saw. Antony with kind of an edge, and Willem Dafoe was "The Goblin" in Spider-Man and he was the "villain" so I think that Willem Dafoe would have the edge.

I saw Julius Caesar being a young, and dramatic man. That is why I chose Leonardo DiCaprio. Leonardo was in Romeo and Juliet. Caesar was portrayed as a noble and strong man. So I think that from the past movies that he did would make him a good pick for Julius Caesar.

Brutus was known as an honorable and strong man in Julius Caesar. That is why I chose Al Pacino. Al Pacino is known as a strong, and straight forward man.

Plebeians Clothing
Plebeians were not as rich as the patricians so their clothes were more basic and made of wool and line. Pleabea were in the lowest social class. All of their clothes were easy to make and made very inexpensively.

What I Fear
Yes, I think that my fears are rational. Pit Bulls kill more than forty children each year. I think that most people's fears are rational because they have had a bad encounter with their fear. I think things that deserve our fear have either had a past of harming people or can potentially cause us harm.

Someone Encouraged Me
A time that someone encouraged me was during an open gym. Coach Dismuke knew that Icould be a better ball handler than I was, so he told me to keep on working at dribbling every day. He kept on telling me every time that he saw me he kept asking me if I had been working on my dribbling. He encouraged me every time that he saw me to keep on dribbling because he new the player that I could be.

Don't Judge a Book by its Cover
What I gained from this years summer reading was symbolism. The symbol that I chose was the symbol of the Greaser's hair. A lot of people that that if you had the slicked back hair and that you were a greaser that you were a bad guy. That wasn't necessarily true in all cases. Because you had people like Johnny and Ponyboy who weren't bad kids, but then there were some cases where it was true like with two-bit. The picture below shows that you can't always judge a book by its cover.
